Submit a BAI Annual Report

Step-by-step tutorial for NASP® Basic Archery Instructors
Annual reporting keeps your BAI certification record current. Complete the report for the open reporting period, even if you did not teach NASP® archery lessons during that period.
Before You Start
Your BAI information
Have your BAI number or the name and postal code used on your BAI record.
School and organization details
Know where you taught, how many students participated, and whether instruction occurred during or outside the school day.
Current contact information
Use an email address you can access. The report requires email confirmation.
1

Open Annual Reporting

From the NASP® BAI website, select Reporting from the navigation menu. The reporting page presents two options:

  • Login, for users who already have a BAI website account.
  • Continue without Logging In, for BAIs who need to look up their record without an account.
Go to Reporting
2

Choose Login or Guest Lookup

If you have a login account

Choose Login. After signing in, return to Reporting or use the Reporting option in BAI Manager. Authenticated users are sent to the report list for their BAI number.

If you do not have a login account

Choose Continue without Logging In. Enter your first name, last name, and postal code exactly as they appear on your BAI record, then select Lookup BAI.

If the lookup says a login account exists, use the login path. Guest reporting is only available when no website account is attached to the BAI record.
3

Start the Open Report

The BAI Annual Reporting page shows the current reporting period and its reporting window. If reporting is open, select Report Now.

  • If the current window has not opened yet, the page displays the date reporting begins.
  • If the window is closed, the page displays that the current reporting period is closed.
  • If a previous report is required, complete that report first when the option is shown.
4

Complete Instructor Information

At the top of the report, review your BAI number and name. Then complete the required fields:

  • Select your Primary Teaching County.
  • Enter and confirm your email address.
  • Answer whether you taught NASP® archery lessons during the reporting period.
NASP® keeps the primary teaching county information private.
5

Review Schools and Organizations

If you taught during the reporting period, the report asks for each school or organization where instruction occurred.

  1. Review the listed schools and organizations.
  2. Delete any school or organization where you did not teach during the reporting period.
  3. Select Add School/Org for any missing entry.
  4. Search for the organization before adding a new one to the database.
  5. Use Add New School to Database only when the school or organization cannot be found in search results.

For each school or organization, record the student counts and instruction details requested by the form, including during-school instruction, outside-school instruction, role, month, PE information, assigned teacher information, and principal contact information when required.

6

Answer Annual Questions

Complete the remaining certification and state-specific questions. Depending on your answers and state settings, the report may ask whether you:

  • Taught, coached, or assisted for at least 10 hours during the reporting period.
  • Plan to teach NASP® archery lessons during the next reporting period.
  • Want to terminate certification and be removed from national NASP® office communications.
  • Need to answer additional state follow-up questions.
Required questions must be completed before the report can be submitted.
7

Submit and Confirm

When all required fields are complete, select Submit Report. The site validates the report before saving the final status.

  • If any required field is missing, complete the highlighted item and submit again.
  • After successful submission, the confirmation page displays that the BAI annual report is complete.
  • Return to My Reports to review report history.
Common Issues

Try the name and postal code used when you were originally entered after training. If the information is still not recognized, contact support for help.

Use the login option instead of guest reporting. After signing in, the reporting page will use the BAI number attached to your account.

Search with fewer words or a partial organization name. Add a new school or organization only after confirming it is not already in the search results.
